(Underwood) The Underwood Eagles are returning to a Class 1A football quarterfinal. The 3rd ranked squad in the state improved to 10-0 with Friday’s 62-14 win over ACGC.
Senior Quarterback Alex Ravlin went 17/21 for 395 yards with seven touchdowns. He added a rushing TD and picked off a pass on defense. Ravlin spread the football around to five different receivers. Jack Fanfossan tallied four catches for 132 yards and a score. Maddox Nelson ran nine times for 61 yards and caught an eight yard shovel pass for another TD.
Each of ACGC’s scoring plays came in the first quarter on Brock Littler runs. Austin Kunkle broke a 40 yard run on an early 3rd and long play to keep the drive alive. The Chargers eventually found the end zone on a Littler 29 yard run. ACGC’s defense was able to get a goal line stand and Littler scored one play after on a 99 yard carry. The Chargers end their season at 7-3. Littler ended up with 162 yards on the ground. Austin Kunkle carried eight times for 82 yards. Seth Reno added 58 yards on 13 attempts.
