(Des Moines, IA) — The Food Bank of Iowa is using a two-million dollar gift to finish an expansion of it’s distribution center. The money’s coming from Ankeny-based Albaugh L-L-C and founder Dennis Albaugh. The Food Bank says the 11-million dollar expansion project doubles the size of it’s building, and includes more freezer and dry storage space, as well as additional dock doors, a small office and paving replacement. They say it’s the first expansion of the building since they moved in in 1999.
