(Guthrie Center) Two people face drug possession charges as the result of a traffic stop in Guthrie County.
According to the report, a Guthrie County Sheriff’s Deputy stopped a car driven by 33-year old Tyler Blue Petersen of Council Bluffs for driving the wrong way on a one-way street on July 28. Stephanie Cooley, 35, was a rear seat passenger in the car.
Cooley was charged with possession of less than five grams of methamphetamine. Tyler Blue Petersen was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Methamphetamine, driving under suspension and non-payment of child support.
Petersen is being held in the Guthrie County Jail on $100,000 bond. Cooley is being held in the Audubon County Jail on $100,000 bond.
