(Atlantic) Cass County Engineer Trent Wolken told the Cass County Board of Supervisors this morning that work will begin soon on the West 6th Street bridge over the East Nishnabotna River.
Wolken said Cramer and Associate bid on the bridge during the letting earlier this spring.
Wolken said the project will last about eight weeks.
In other activity, Wolken said they are working on two box culverts: the one on Boston Road has been backfilled and that should open in about two weeks. The other culvert on 610th they had their first pour on the floor Thursday and that should open this fall. Wolken said a third box culvert on Fairview Road will go to letting next month.
