(Guthrie Co.) Guthrie County Conservation Director Brad Halterman told the Supervisors this morning that some of the camping pedestals at Lennon Mill will have to be replaced.
Halterman said a critter got into one of the pedestals and completely fried it.
Halterman said there are two camping pads that currently do not have electricity. He said they have some pedestals on order, but it may not be until the end of the camping season before they are in.
In other news, Halterman said after the Labor Day holiday the camping season starts to wind down, but he said Fall is still a beautiful time of year to camp. He said electricity will stay on at the campgrounds the whole year. The water will stay on until temperatures drop below 30-degrees.
