(Pekin, IA) — A staff member in the Pekin School District has been placed on administrative leave and a student faces expulsion after a video of an incident was posted on social media Friday. The video shows a student punching and kicking another student while on the floor in a lunchroom. The staff member’s handling of the incident has been question and the person who has not been identified, has been put on leave with pay until further review.
