(Keokuk) One teen was killed, and another teenager suffered injuries in a single-vehicle accident in Lee County.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at 10:45 p.m. on Saturday south of 3283 Mississippi Road. A 15-year-old died from injuries in the crash, and a 16-year-old was injured.
According to the report, a 2000 Toyota Matrix traveling south on Mississippi Road failed to negotiate a curve and crashed into a ditch.
The Iowa State Patrol did not release the juvenile’s names.
