(Harlan) The Harlan City Council Tuesday evening approved a Memorandum of Understanding with Ignite Pathways for use of the airport facilities for a student aviation program.
Ignite Pathways in Woodbine is serving four to five districts in the western Iowa area to provide programming.
They would use hangars 2A and 2B which are not rented out; right now, they are just used for storage.
In other action, the Council approved a resolution for the purchase agreement concept for conveying city-owned property in G.H. Christiansen subdivision.
The purchase agreement will be set at $1,000 per lot until September 30, 2023, with construction to begin within twelve months of purchase, unless otherwise agreed. Each sale will require City Council approval.
