(Pottawattamie Co.) The Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office reports multiple arrests between June 20 and July 6.
Jordin Annmarie Anderson, 23, of La Vista, Nebraska, was arrested July 6th after Deputies assisted ABLE 1 in pursuit of a stolen vehicle on I-29 eastbound. Anderson was charged with Theft 2nd – Possession of Stolen Property.
Jason Paul Crouse, 36, of Council Bluffs, turned himself in on July 5th on a warrant for Violation of Parole.
Two people were arrested following a traffic stop in Oakland on July 3rd. George Poorker, 37, of Oakland, was charged with Violation of a No Contact/Protective Order. Karmyn Kay Watson, 37, of Oakland, was charged with Violation of Probation and Violation of a No Contact/Protective Order.
Taylor Jon Fulsos, 23, was arrested on July 3rd after Deputies investigated a suspicious vehicle on Overland Trail in Council Bluffs. Fulsos was charged with OWI 1st Offense.
William Wendell Bishop III, 35, was arrested July 2nd after Deputies were dispatched to 1400 Big Lake Road. Bishop was charged with Attempted Burglary 3rd Degree – Vehicle.
Danielle Nichole Overton, 42, was arrested at Stir Cove on July 1st for Assault. According to the report, Overton was being escorted out of the concert and was refusing to walk out, stopping at a beer stand and grabbing hold of it. Overton’s daughter then pushed the security guard and said, “That’s my mom, she didn’t do anything”. The security guard then turned toward the daughter and starting pushing her toward the exit as well. Overton then turned on the security guard and yelled “That’s my daughter” before jumping on his back and striking him in the back of the head with her right hand. A Deputy pulled the mother off of the security guard and detained her and her daughter.
Vaughn Dion White, 29, was arrested following a traffic stop on June 30th for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Angela Wagman, 45, was arrested after Deputies were dispatched to a possible impaired driver at 340th and Idlewood. Wagman was charged with OWI 1st Offense, Child Endangerment, and Obstruct E911.
Daniel Patrick Campbell, 45, was arrested following a traffic stop on June 27th on Highway 83 and Washington Street in Marne on a hold for other facility.
William Evrin Beach, 51, was arrested following a disturbance on Pacific Street in Walnut on June 26th. Beach was charged with Domestic Abuse Assault.
Seth Daniel Tomford, 21, was arrested on June 25th for Public Intoxication 1st Offense. According to the report, Tomford approached Deputies in front of the east office in Avoca and asked to be arrested for public intoxication and stated that he was drunk. Tomford was told several times to return to his home, which was across the street, and he refused to. Eventually he was placed under arrest and transported to Jennie Edmundson Hospital after he requested a chemical test at his own expense. After the sample was taken at the hospital and confirmed to be good, Tomford was transported to the Pottawattamie County Jail.
Jeffery Christopher Potter, 43, was arrested following a traffic stop on June 24th near 230th and Highway 92. Potter was charged with OWI 2nd Offense.
Jeffrey David Bartels, 25, was arrested following a traffic stop on June 24th in Council Bluffs. Bartels was charged with OWI 1st Offense.
Todd Schlautman, 32, was arrested at Stir Cove on June 23rd for Public Intoxication 1st Offense. Security personnel requested assistance near the T-intersection of Harrahs Boulevard after observing a male walking through traffic and laying down in the roadway. The male, identified as Schlautman, had walked into the ditch and was found lying face down. The Deputy attempted to find a ride home to Schlautman, but he would not cooperate. He was eventually placed under arrest.
A 17-year-old male was arrested following a traffic stop in the 13400 block of Wabash Avenue on June 22nd after Deputies observed a vehicle driving 97 mph in a 55 mph zone. The juvenile was charged with Eluding While Exceeding the Speed Limit and Interference with Official Acts.
Cory Ross Smith, 37, was arrested June 22nd for Failure to Appear. According to the report, Deputies were dispatched to 525th and Pioneer Trail where a caller located a male party sleeping by the bridge. There was also a truck with front end damage further down the road. Griswold Rescue responded to the scene as well. Smith was uninjured and refused treatment. Smith stated that he was driving out by Keast Enterprises early that morning and put his truck in the ditch. He said he got the truck out and started to drive home and his truck broke down. He said he started to walk toward home and got hot, so he sat down and eventually fell asleep. It was discovered Smith had a valid warrant through Pottawattamie County for failure to appear. He was transported to the Pottawattamie County Jail.
Cody Michael Schroeder, 34, was arrested following a traffic stop in the 100 block of West Broadway on June 21st. Schroeder was charged with OWI 1st Offense.
William Lee Cochenour, 39, was arrested on June 20th after Deputies were called to mile marker 11 on I-880 for a check welfare. Cochenour was charged with Violation of a No Contact/Protective Order.
