(Atlantic) Atlantic hosts Shenandoah in a Class 3A Regional quarterfinal softball game at Atlantic on Wednesday evening.
The Trojans enter post-season play riding a five-game winning streak while outscoring the opposition 74-24. Atlantic Head Coach Terry Hinzmann says the post-season is an entirely different ballgame.
Atlantic is 21-14 overall and finished third in the conference at 14-6. Shenandoah is 13-18 and ended conference play at 7-13. The two conference teams split during the regular season. Shenandoah won the first game 1-0.
Atlantic won the nightcap, 8-1.

The winner plays either Clarinda or Red Oak on Saturday, July 9.
