Hi! I’m Sarah Archibald and let me tell you a little about myself

Once upon a time… sorry. That’s the beginning to every fairy tale.

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…sorry again. That’s Star Wars.

On a long and lonesome highway. East of Omaha…again so sorry. That of course is Bob Seger’s “Turn the Page”

I’m here to take you on a magic ride through the land of odd news, dumb facts, funny surveys and activities going on in our little neck of the woods. I enjoy useless trivia. Did you know that bubble wrap was originally intended to be used as wallpaper? I wonder why it isn’t? That would be a fun room. Finally, I want to learn more about my community and Southwest Iowa. I want to hear about fundraisers for local non-profits, events going on in our local and county parks and of course the great festivals and town celebrations that happen here in Southwest Iowa

Birthday: July 15th, 1981
Hometown:  Lewis, Iowa.
Family: I’m married to a very patience man, Ryan. He is the Lucy to my Ricky. (Kids ask your parents what that means) I have a whole herd of Knuckleheads. My Son, Skeeter; My Daughter, Lucy; Step-son, Tyler with daughter in law, Erica their two kiddos and Step-son Sage
Pets: I have the cutest doggos ever to grace the earth. It’s true, I had them tested. A Schnoodle named Waffles and a Goldendoodle named Winnie. And an orange cat named Cheeto ( Google orange cat’s personality and you’ll know why.)
Hobbies: I love spending time with my knucklehead kids, I love solving crimes and mysteries and I enjoy baking/cooking home cooked meals from scratch. I do have the habit of falling down the “You Tube Rabbit Hole”. One minute I’m watching a clip from a documentary on PBS and the next thing I know, I’m watching baby raccoons eat grapes. By the way, google “baby raccoons eating grapes”. You can thank me later. I am a huge football fan so I love watching Iowa Hawkeyes and the Las Vegas Raiders. I am a baby geek of nerd stuff. Marvel, Doctor Who ( I have one and only one tattoo of the TARDIS), Star Wars everything. I will eat up anything sci-fi/fantasy with a big ole spoon.
Last Job before radio: That’s classified
Job you would have if you were not in radio: I really think I would be an amazing teacher. Like Mr. Feeny from Boy Meets World or Mr. Kotter from Welcome Back, Kotter or even Ms. Frizzle from the Magic School Bus.
1st Concert: Rainbow Brite Live at Worlds of Fun when I was 5 years old.
I can’t make it through the day without… In no particular order: Coffee, beer, candy, laughing and giving my kids hugs.
Fun Fact. I can touch my tongue to my nose. Even though I was born and raised in Southwest Iowa I can and will get lost. Seriously, I got lost going to Brayton from Lewis.
