(Sidney) A Farragut man was arrested for Assault on a Peace Officer and other charges.
The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office says on Monday at approximately 4:48 a.m. deputies discovered a one-vehicle accident near the intersection of 330th Avenue and Highway 2, east of Sidney.
The driver, Jordan Nisely, age 24 of Farragut, was initially arrested for Operating while Intoxicated 1st Offense and Driving Under Suspension. During the course of the arrest, Nisley began fighting with deputies, resulting in a deputy receiving minor injuries. Nisely was subsequently charged with Interference with Official Acts, causing bodily injury and Assault on a Peace Officer.
Nisley was given a $2,000, 10% surety bond by the Fremont County Magistrate and bonded out of jail after posting $200.
The Mills County Sheriff’s Office assisted Fremont County with the call.
