(Ames) Iowa State notched a 67-44 women’s basketball win at home on Sunday over Georgia. The 3rd seeded Cyclones advance to the Sweet 16.
Lexi Donarski made four 3-pointers and went 6/6 from the free-throw line on her way to a team best 20 points. Emily Ryan had 15 points, 6 rebounds, 9 assists, and 3 steals. Ashley Joens posted 12 points and 10 rebounds. Iowa State jumped out to a 23-7 lead at the end of the 1st quarter.
28-6 ISU will play #10 seed Creighton on Friday.
