-Iowa State heads to the Texas Relays March 23rd-26th.

-Simpson swept Beloit last Sunday by scores of 3-1 and 3-0.
-On Monday they beat St. Norbert 5-2.
-Tuesday brought a 9-7 victory over Farmingdale State.
-Simpson topped Clarkson 9-7 on Wednesday.
-They split a doubleheader with Illinois Wesleyan on Friday.
-Simpson lost 7-3 to Brockport on Saturday.
Joel Sampson, Sophomore, SWCC, Baseball
-SWCC lost 17-1 against Iowa Central on Wednesday.
-Sampson scored 1 run in SWCC’s 9-1 loss to Indian Hills on Saturday.
-SWCC lost 14-4 to DMACC on Sunday. Sampson was 2/3 with a double, a triple, and scored one run

-Tied for 56th in the last tournament in Pine Mountain, GA.

-Simpson swept Beloit last Sunday by scores of 3-1 and 3-0.
-On Monday they beat St. Norbert 5-2.

-Outdoor season beings April 2nd.
Ryan Hawkins, Senior, Basketball, Creighton
-Hawkins posted 10 points in Thursday’s NCAA Tournament win against San Diego State.
-Creighton lost 79-72 to Kansas on Saturday. Hawkins had 14 points and 6 rebounds.
Taylor McCreedy, Freshman, Track and Field, Iowa Central
-Next meet is at Wichita State March 25th and 26th.
Gratt Reed, Sophomore, Track and Field, Iowa
-Ran the 4th best time in the prelims of the 110 High in 14.00 at Arizona State.
-Ran on Iowa’s 4th place 4X100.
Brooke Newell, Senior, Golf, Missouri State
-Tied for 20th at the Jackrabbit Invitational played March 14th and 15th at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, NV
-Shot 70-76-75 (221). She was tied for first place individually after round one.
-Missouri State broke a school record with their seven under par 281 in the final round to place 3rd in the tournament.
Olivia Engler, Freshman, Softball, Iowa Central
-Iowa Central went 7-3 over the past week.
-Engler recorded the win in the circle in a 7-5 victory over Alpena Community College last Sunday.
-In five innings during a 10-2 win over Lewis and Clark, Engler gave up two earned runs on six hits and three walks while striking out four.
Caroline Pellett, Freshman, Softball, Simpson
-Simpson beat North Park 10-5 on Sunday and Pellett scored one run.
-Simpson lost 4-0 on Sunday to Amherst.
-On Monday the Storm beat Washington College 8-5. Pellett scored a run.
-Pellett scored a run in Simpson’s 10-1 win over Wm. Paterson on Monday.
-The Storm downed both Defiance 4-3 and Wisconsin Lutheran 12-6 on Tuesday. Pellett tallied two runs.
-Simpson lost 1-0 to Wheaton on Thursday. Pellett was 0/1 at the plate.
-On Thursday they beat Hamline 8-4.
-On Friday Simpson beat Salem State 12-4, beat Carthage 4-0, and lost to Rhodes 3-1.
-Lost 3-0 to Washington and Jefferson and beat Curry 8-3. Pellett walked and scored a run against Curry.

Audubon Graduates
Tyler Riebhoff, Senior, Baseball, Coe
-Coe was swept by Keystone College in a doubleheader on Monday 7-6 and 6-3. In game one, Riebhoff gave up one hit, one walk, and two earned runs in 1/3 of an inning.
-Coe beat #10 Webster 7-4 on Thursday.
-On Friday they split a doubleheader with Wisconsin-Steven’s Point. Riebhoff walked two batters in the game two loss.
-Lost 9-5 to Augustana on Saturday. Riebhoff game up no hits in 2/3 of an inning.
CAM Graduates
Molly Venteicher, Freshman, Track, Southwestern Community College
-Outdoor season starts March 26th at Grand View.
Jacob Holste, Sophomore, Track, Iowa Western
-Outdoor season starts next month.
Jade Jackson, Freshman, Track, Iowa Central
-Finished 29th in the 200 at Emporia State in 27.57.
-18th in the 400 in 1:04.98.
Connor McKee, Freshman, Track, Central Missouri
-Next meet is the Texas Relays March 24th-26th.
Exira-EHK Graduates
Sophia Peppers, Senior, Basketball, Morningside
-The Mustangs beat Carroll on Thursday, 71-67. Peppers had 9 points and 8 rebounds.
-Peppers posted 18 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 steals in an 84-79 Elite 8 loss to Southeastern on Saturday.
Alex Amaral, Junior, Baseball, McPherson (KS) College
-McPherson went 7-0 in the past week.
-In an 11-2 win over St. Mary on Saturday Amaral pitched 1-2-3 7th inning with two strikeouts.
