Diana Kay Petersen was born on December 18, 1966, in Salina, Kansas, to Jackie and Rosalie (Christensen) Petersen. The family moved to Avoca and Diana graduated from Avoca High School with the class of 1985. After graduation she attended Capitol Beauty School in Omaha.
She worked as a hairstylist and did community service at the nursing home in Atlantic. Diana loved to draw. On Saturday, January 22, 2022, Diana passed away at Cass County Memorial Hospital in Atlantic, having attained the age of fifty-five years, one month and four days. She was preceded in death by her parents; Jackie and Rosalie. Left to cherish her memory is her sister Lisa Petersen of Avoca, Iowa; aunts, uncles, other family and friends.
Memorial Services will be Friday, January 28th at 11:00 AM at the Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. The Pauley Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
