Marcella Platt, 96, of Massena passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2022, at the Caring Acres Nursing and Rehab Center in Anita, Iowa.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Massena with burial in the Victoria Cemetery, south of Massena. Pastor Karen Patrick will officiate the service. The Lamb Funeral Home in Massena is in charge of the professional arrangements (formerly Steen Funeral Home).
Family Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at the United Methodist Church in Massena.
Memorials may be directed to Marcella Platt Memorial Fund to be established by the family at a later date.
Surviving Marcella are her children, Linda Stroud, Papillion NE, Don and wife Kris, Massena, and Randy, Council Bluffs; grandchildren: John Stroud and wife Tina, Ponca NE, Mark Stroud and wife DeAnne, Omaha NE, Joe Platt, Massena and Cody Platt and wife Stacey, Massena; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Richard Retz, Glenwood; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
