(Griswold) Currently, all schools struggle with staff shortages, and the Griswold School District is no exception. The school board discussed the issue at last week’s meeting.
Griswold Schools Superintendent Dave Henrichs and the board of education recently brainstormed on a list of items the district can run through when interviewing prospective staff members.
In 2016, Henrichs started his role as superintendent. Henrichs and the board conducted a five-year projection focused on spending authority, the maximum amount a district can spend. Today, the Griswold School District’s financial condition is greatly improved.
Henrichs says the financial rewards will come during negotiations this spring.
