(Cedar Rapids, IA) — An Iowa man continued his self-defense claims after he was sentenced to 57 years in prison in Linn County. Drew Blahnik reportedly made it a point not to apologize to the victim’s family. Blahnik was found guilty of stabbing Chris Bagley to death three years ago. Bagley went missing in December 2018 and his body wasn’t found for more than two months. A jury found Blahnik guilty of second-degree murder. A second man was sentenced to 47 years in prison for his role in Bagley’s death.
