(Panora) The West Central Activities Conference Cross Country Meet took place on Thursday at Panorama. The Des Moines Christian Boys and Van Meter girls earned team championships. Individual winners were Jayden Dickson, of Earlham, and Clare Kelly, of Van Meter.
The ACGC boys took runner-up honors. They were seven points behind Des Moines Christian in the team count. Trevin Suhr led the Chargers in 5th place. Six others occupied spots on the top 20. Justin Reinhart placed 13th, Andrew Mahaffey 14th, Kaden Thompson 15th, Bo Arrasmith 17th, Lance Bunde 18th, and Noah Kading 19th.
Freshman Ava Campbell had the top performance for the ACGC girls in 3rd place. The Chargers got a 14th place run from Hayden Coffman. Adalyn Bensen placed 22nd. 33rd was Katelyn Schafer. Rounding out the varsity were Paige Van Meter in 37th, Kiersten Knobbe 39th, and Jayla Hoover 41st.
