(Lansing, IA) — A northeast Iowa man will spend two months in federal prison and pay a five-thousand-dollar fine for arranging illegal deer hunts. Forty-six-year-old Corey Gene Fritzler of Lansing pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy and admitted he set up the hunts through his business Northeast Iowa Outfitters. One of the hunts involved two men from Florida who were actually undercover officers — the other involved two men from Louisiana. He charged the men around four-thousand dollars for five days of hunting.
