Audubon cross country meet won by IKM-Manning

(Audubon) The IKM-Manning boys placed four runners within the top ten and won the team championship at Audubon on Thursday. The Wolves scored 28 points. They were led by 3rd place finisher Lane Sams and Caden Keller who placed 4th.

Riverside was the runner-up team with 47 points. Mason McCready led the Bulldogs in 2nd and Eric Duhachek was 8th. Dalton Smith placed 15th, Jaden Teitsort 20th, and Caleb Stevens 21st.

Audubon did not have a team score. For the Wheelers Jackson Deist was 6th, Mason Steckler 25th, and Derek Bald 32nd.

Exira-EHK had one boys runner in the field. Treaven Hill-Borger placed 19th.

IKM-Manning was the only team in the girls field with a full squad and thus won the meet with 15 points. The Wolves got a 4th place run by Emily Albertsen to lead three individuals in the top ten.

The individual champ was Audubon’s Stefi Beisswenger. Hannah Thygesen placed 3rd for the home squad. Other Audubon runners included Autumn Zaiger in 15th and Madison Burr in 17th.

Exira-EHK had Ella Petersen run 7th, Macy Emgarten placed 12th, Kate Hansen 13th, and Ruby Vanderwal 18th.

Riverside had a 5th place showing for Becca Cody.
