Clarinda edges Atlantic in Girls Cross Country Meet. Atlantic’s Ava Rush wins 2nd Straight Individual Title

(Clarinda) Clarinda placed three runners in the top five and edged Atlantic 31-33 for the team title at a cross country meet at Clarinda on Tuesday.

Overall finishes for Clarinda; Mayson Hartley finished second in a time of 21:17.88, Raenna Henke, third, Ashlyn Eberly fifth, Callie King, ninth, and Amelia Hesse, 14^th.

Overall finishes for Atlantic, Ava Rush won her second straight individual title in a time of 20:52.28. Claire Pellett finished 4^th, Belle Berg, seventh, Hailey Huffman, and Mariah Huffman finished 11^th and 12^th.

Nebraska City finished in third place with 75 points, Red Oak fourth, 109, North Andrew fifth, 140, and Southwest Valley,sixth with 145 points.

Overall top five finishers for Red Oak were; Camryn Bass, 10^th, Delaney Hall, 19^th, Aedynn Graham, 33^rd, Lainey Klepinger, 38^th, and Josie McCunn, 41.

For Southwest Valley, Kya Newton, 36^th, Olivia Kathikar, 37th, Victoria Fletchall, 53rd, Karissa Richey, 54th, and Layla Konecne, 56^th.

For Riverside; Becca Cody, 8^th, Macy Woods, 23^rd, and McCartney Sanny, 46^th.
