(Des Moines, IA) — A security guard in the Court Avenue Entertainment Zone in Des Moines could face charges for firing his gun into the air early Sunday. His name hasn’t been released. Witnesses told investigators the shot was fired when a fight broke out inside The Firm and a security guard was tackled by a customer. A second security guard fired the shot to stop the fight. No one was injured and no names have been released. Des Moines police say they would never fire a shot to break up a fight.
