(Davenport, IA) — A 25-year-old Davenport woman who admitted she allowed a man to seriously injure her son has been sentenced to 10 years in prison. Taylor Rae Moss entered a guilty plea to charges of child endangerment resulting in bodily injury and neglect of a dependent person – both felonies. The investigation started when doctors reported an unresponsive two-year-old boy being treated in their hospital. Moss and 38-year-old Justin Michael Perkins told investigators they didn’t know how the boy was injured. She later changed her version of events.
