City Administrator Gene Gettys said the funds are there from donations and savings but they will need to amend the budget to reflect that.
In May, the Harlan Police Department announced the passing of their K9 Jax of natural causes. Jax was assigned to Officer Tim Pederson and was certified in Tracking-Trailing and Narcotics.
