(Des Moines, IA) — Des Moines police are investigating the shooting of an alleged intruder early Friday morning.
Officers say the armed suspect forced his way into an apartment and threatened to assault the resident. Investigators say that man used his own gun to shoot the intruder. The suspect fled the scene and later showed up at a hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
No names have been released.
