Adams County Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash

(Adams County) An Adams County man died in a motorcycle accident in Adams County.

The Iowa State Patrol says the crash happened Wednesday at 5:32 p.m. on 175th and Chestnut Avenue in Adams County.  Authorities say 65-year old Harold Wayne Mitchell of Carbon died in the crash.

According to the report, a southbound 2008 Harley Davidson driven by Mitchell left the roadway while attempting to round the curve in the road. The motorcycle left the road entered the ditch, ejecting Mitchell.

The Adams County Medical Examiner pronounced Harold Mitchell deceased at the scene.
