(Atlantic) Atlantic School Board President Jenny Williams announced a new charter following the second Orange Frog session.
This past month approximately thirty Atlantic School System employees made up of school board members, administrators, secretaries, food service, custodians, and teachers spent two days looking at Orange Frog, a classroom workshop that teaches the science of sustainable peak performance. The program stresses positive environments are performance enhancers. They are characterized by higher productivity, less turnover, and more resilient cultures, and healthier employees.
Williams says this past session a group of twelve school personnel formed a team called the “Joy Crew,” She says the team formed a charter with the following mission.
Williams says the team is currently forming a schedule of a list of activities for the next school year. She says there will be a lot of “Orange “at the Atlantic Community Schools during the 2021-2022 school years.
Williams adds there is talk of future training for everybody.
