(Atlantic) Produce in the Park is welcoming singer-songwriters Rachel and Chad Hamar and the Cloverdayle band on Thursday. The husband and wife duo from Nashville, Tennessee, will perform a free concert from 5:00 -6:00 p.m., at the Atlantic City Park. The concert is sponsored by Rolling Hills Bank and Trust.
The Hamars are originally from Oregon and have lived in Nashville now for the past eight years.
The couple is releasing one song per month, and their most recent release is “Big Hat and No Cattle.”
Rachel says the chorus was already written, and they were waiting to write the content based on a real-life experience.
The Cloverdayle band originated in 2008. They started by performing as a duo at local coffeehouses. A following grew, first in their own community, and then throughout the Pacific Northwest. Step-by-step they’ve scaled to higher levels of visibility, earning opening slots for Jason Aldean, Eric Church, Lady Antebellum, and Tim McGraw.
