Kenna Ford struck out 10 batters in the 2-hit shutout. Katie Messerschmidt drove in Chiara Rains for the game’s only run in a contest that lasted 50 minutes. The Lady Dawgs finish the regular season at 16-12. Up next is CAM in regional tournament play on Tuesday.

Amelia Evans had a walk-off single to send the Panthers into the WIC finals. AHSTW recorded 11 hits. Two each were struck by Ally Meyers, Sienna Christian, and Grayson Gettler. Gettler drove in three runs and Graycen Partlow had two RBI.
Underwood 7, Audubon 0
The Wheelers managed just two hits and committed six errors in the Western Iowa Conference Tourney semifinal loss. Addie Hocker doubled and Mattie Nielsen singled. The Wheelers start the regional tournament on Tuesday against Boyer Valley in a game we’ll have on KSOM.
Griswold 13, Essex 1
The Tigers run the table in the Corner Conference and finish the regular season at 25-1. They’ve won 15 straight. Seven players had a hit and nine players scored a run. Haylee Pennock drove a home run and had two RBI. Three hits apiece for Karly Millikan, McKenna Wiechman, and Brenna Rossell. Millikan hit a double while Wiechman and Rossell each posted two RBI. Erynn Peterson added to her single season steals record with three stolen bases. Brenna Rossell tallied 9 K’s and allowed four hits.
Woodbine 6, Exira-EHK 4
Woodbine spoil’s Exira-EHK’s hopes of an outright conference title. The Tigers scored four in the 1st to get off to a great start. Charlie Pryor had two hits including a double. She also pitched the win allowing six hits, two walks, and struck out five. With all RVC games in the books, these teams split. Woodbine went 14-2 in the conference and Exira-EHK was 13-2.

Emily Brouse’s 500th career strikeout highlighted the sweep for Harlan. Brouse pitched a one-hit shutout with 11 K’s in game two. She also homered. Aurora Miller posted three hits in the contest and Ella Plagman had two. Tianna Kasperbauer delivered the game one shutout with seven strikeout and four hits allowed. Aurora Miller finished with two hits.
