(Exira) “Stronger Together” is the theme for the 156th Annual 4th of July Celebration in Exira.
The Exira Community Club came up with the idea for this year’s parade theme. Here’s Abby Rasmussen. “I think Katie Wheeler was the one that found it and we just all thought ‘Oh my gosh that’s really good.’ It’s kind of fitting for this year and what the country and the community has been through with the virus and everything. We just thought “Stronger Together” was a good theme.”
Don and Mary Greving will serve as grand marshals for the parade. It starts at 10:30 a.m. on Monday. They will use the same, extended route as 2020. This year there will be candy thrown out.
