(Iowa City) Gratt Reed is a 2nd team All-American.
The University of Iowa sophomore from Atlantic ran on the Hawkeye’s 4X100 Meter Relay at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Eugene, OR. The group of Jaylan McConico, Antonio Woodard, Gratt Reed and Austin Kresley placed fifth in their heat and 14th overall with a season’s best time of 39.48.
Reed’s sophomore campaign also included a runner-up finish at the Big Ten Indoor Championships in the 60-Meter Hurdles. He ran a time of 7.81 which is 6th on Iowa’s all-time list.
