(Atlantic) Cass County Public Health Nurse Linda Edelman says 43-percent of the total population in Cass County is fully vaccinated.
Edelman says as of late last week, 5,588 individuals have received the vaccine. “I think we can do better than that in Cass County, ” said Edelman. “We would like people to get the vaccination.”
Edelman says Hy-Vee has the Pfizer vaccine for anyone 12-years of age and older; people need to register online for an appointment. Cass County Public Health distributes the J & J vaccine; people can call for an appointment at 243-7551 or 243-3250. Walmart has the Moderna Vaccine for ages 18-and older, and again people are asked to register online.
Vaccinations will also be available at the Mobile Food Bank in Atlantic from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Cass County Community Center.
