(Atlantic) Construction crews have begun tearing out the west parking lot at the Atlantic High School.
The project includes replacing the existing parking lot with seven-inch concrete and 17-20 additional parking spaces. The project also includes widening the front entryway into the high school, adding about three-and-half feet at the narrowest spot, and tapering back to the existing concrete by the sidewalk on the south side. The purpose of this is to alleviate buses hopping the curb.
