(Dunlap) Three teams have advanced from the Class 1A Girls Golf Regional Tournament at Dunlap on Monday. Kingsley-Pierson, Boyer Valley, and Coon Rapids-Bayard all qualified for the Regional Final at Crestwood Hills on May 24th.
Kingsley-Pierson placed two individuals in the top five and won the team championship with a score of 398.
Boyer Valley’s 408 was boosted by individual medalist Alexia Miller. Miller shot a 92 to win the tournament by three strokes.
As a result of Boyer Valley being the host school and finishing 2nd, a third team also moves on. Coon Rapids-Bayard scored 427 to grab the final team spot.
Two individuals earned the right to keep their season alive. Logan-Magnolia’s Kali Collins is a regional finalist with her round of 96. Audubon’s Sydney Beymer advances with a 99.
