(Anita) On Monday, the CAM School Board approved the contract agreement with the CAM Education Association for the 2021/2022 school year.
CAM School’s Superintendent Paul Croghan says the School Board approved contracts for the teaching staff, support staff, and the administration. “The overall package increase is 2.5-percent, and did some things with insurance so we could support our staff in wages, so that was good,” said Croghan.
Croghan says the contracts will soon solidify a staff so that the district can plan for the next school year.
The School Board also agreed to continue the current mask mandate through the end of the school year. This means students will continue to wear face coverings in the classroom, in the building, and on the bus.
Croghan says there will be no bleachers at the baseball and softball fields this summer, attendance will be unlimited, and those attending can bring their lawn chairs, social distance, and masks will not be required.
