(Audubon) The Audubon City Council held a special meeting Monday night to approve their FY22 Budget.
The tax levy rate will be $20.63 per thousand dollars of valuation. City Clerk Joe Foran says that’ll be about 3-5 cents lower than last year. No written or oral comments were submitted during Monday’s public hearing.
The Council also approved an Ordinance Amending water rates for outside customers. “The Council voted instead of going with the triple rate multiplier to go with the 1.5 times multiplier. They went ahead and waved the second and third readings of the ordinance so it’ll take effect on Friday.”
