(Griswold) This week the Griswold School Board approved the Master Contracts for the Griswold Community Education Association.
Griswold School Superintendent David Henrichs says all staff members, including certified and non-certified staff, received a 2.49 percent increase. That means teachers will receive a $100.00 increase to the base salary. Teachers with longevity will receive an $800.00 increase. The non-salaried staff will receive a .35 center per hour raise.
In other businesses, the Board of Education set the Drivers Education fees for the summer of 2022. The Board approved an increase in student fees and instructor stipends. The student fees increased from $335.00 to $345.00; for non-Griswold students, the fee increased from $435.00 to $445.00. The classroom instructor stipend increased from $1,435.00 to $1,470.00, and the drive time hourly rate went from $31.00 per hour to $32.00 per hour.
