(Sioux City) Exira-EHK graduate Sophia Peppers was named to the Great Plains Athletic Conference First Team on Wednesday.
Peppers, a 5-10 junior, averages 15.3 points and 6.8 rebounds per game for Morningside. She’s shooting 48.6% from the field, 37.3% from 3-point range, and 78.6% at the free-throw line. Peppers had a game winning shot on Tuesday as the Mustangs won the GPAC Conference Championship Game.
Treynor’s Konnor Sudmann was a 1st team choice for Briar Cliff and Treynor’s Madelyn Deitchler was a 2nd team selection for the Chargers.
Panorama alums Devyn Kemble (Northwestern) and Bailey Beckman (Dordt) were each named honorable mention.
