(Audubon) The Audubon School Board set public hearings for the bargaining meeting and school calendar at their meeting Monday evening.
Audubon Superintendent Eric Trager said they have officially started the process of collective bargaining so the Audubon Education Association gave their opening proposal Monday night and the Audubon School Board will give theirs next Monday night at a public meeting beginning at 6:00 p.m. Trager said the Board will hold the school calendar hearing at their regular board meeting in March.
In other action, the board approved adding a freshman baseball coaching position. “We’ve got excellent numbers out for baseball this year and it looks like we can play a freshman schedule so we went ahead an approved hiring a freshman baseball coach,” said Trager.
