(Atlantic) CADCO Director Jennifer McEntaffer and Atlantic Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Bailey Smith presented a Marketing Video to the Atlantic City Council on Wednesday.
Bailey Smith says the high production video is titled “What you see is What You Get.” CADCO and the Chamber partnered with Atlantic Community Development. The goal is to address the population loss in Atlantic. “The idea for the video is to encourage people living in the City, or outside the state in larger City’s to move here, work from home and raise a family,” explained Smith. “Working from home is quite common for large corporations that don’t need employees in the office during and even past the pandemic. We want to encourage people to move to our community where the cost of living is much lower, in this small safe community.”
Smith says they worked with the production company “515” Production out of Des Moines. Smith says they wanted them to produce an inspirational video to encourage people to move to the area. She says they’re working with The Iowa Economic Development Authority to send the video to a nationwide audience. In addition to that, the video will be available online.
