(Des Moines) The Iowa legislative session begins Monday.
Iowa House District 20 Representative Ray “Bubba” Sorensen (R-Greenfield) said the first few days of the session are what he likes to call a lot of pomp and circumstance.
Sorensen said one of their top priorities is of course the budget.
Sorensen said another top priority is child care.
Sorensen is Chair of the Economic Growth Committee and he is on the IT Committee and he said a big priority for him is expanding broadband access, especially in rural areas and for people who might not have it.
