(Des Moines) The National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory for much of Iowa until noon today.
Visibility is less than one-quarter of a mile. Hazardous driving conditions may also occur due to low visibility, and icy bridges and overpasses.
The National Weather Service advises motorists to slow down, use their headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
