(Guthrie Center) The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors have extended a Family First Coronavirus Response Act.
The board met Tuesday and extended the initial policy to run from January 1st through March 31st. “We will follow what the federal guidelines state. So if someone is off for COVID then we will pay them for so many days.”
Auditor Dani Fink says a discussion was held on the vacant Human Resources position. “The Treasurer, the Sheriff, and the County Attorney were all in there and they just all talked about what they wanted to see out of that position and reviewed an employment ad from the last time it was advertised. Mike Dixon is going to work on ad this week and bring it back to the board for approval next week.”
In other news, IT Administrator Brian Hoffman explained to the board that he is updating the meeting software so more individuals are able to attend virtually.
