Multiple individuals were arrested within the past week in Cass County.
55-year-old Lisa Jean Eggers, of Atlantic, was arrested on December 17th by the Cass County Sheriff’s Department. She was charged with Possession of Marijuana 3rd/Subsequent, OWI 1st offense (serious misdemeanor), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (simple.) Eggers was transported to the Cass County Jail where she is being held on $10,300 bond.
In a separate case, a Massena Man was arrested on a District Court warrant for Webster County. On December 21st, 53-year-old Kevin Lance Drew was taken into custody at the Cass County jail and later released after Webster county recalled the warrant.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Griswold Man on December 22nd. 66-year-old Randall Dean Bates was charged with OWI 1st offense (serious). Bates was taken to the Cass County Jail and was released the following day on his own recognizance.
Cass County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a one-vehicle accident on Highway 148, north of Keystone road around 9:52 a.m. on December 27th. 22-year-old Heather Ashley East of Prescott was driving a 2000 Chevy Tahoe southbound on Highway 148 when East lost control on the icy roadway and entered the west ditch. No injuries reported and no citations were issued. The damage to the Tahoe is estimated around $3500.
