(Glenwood) Mills County Public Health reports 129 additional cases of COVID-19 from November 17 to November 24, bringing the total to 980 positive cases, with 397 recoveries from the virus.
The weekly report shows 5,652 tests, two deaths, and a 14-day positivity rate of 24.1%.
The Glenwood area has the highest number of positive tests with 751, Malvern, 76, Pacific Junction 58, Silver City, 22, Emerson, 16, Mineola, 11, Henderson, Council Bluffs (Mills Area), and Tabor, 10, and eight each in the Hastings and Tabor (Mills area).
The report says 37-percent of the cases affected the 40-59-year old age group, 27-percent in the 19-39 age categories, 19-percent from those ranging from 60-79, 15-percent from 0-18, and 2-percent from the elderly age group 80 and beyond.
Mills County Public Health Officials say they continue to see a significant increase in new cases and increase test positivity.
