A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from Midnight tonight to 3 p.m. Tuesday for Monona, Harrison, Shelby and Pottawattamie counties; and from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday for Crawford, Carroll and Audubon counties.
The National Weather Service says mixed precipitation is expected; total snow accumulations of up to one inch and ice accumulations of around two tenths of an inch.
Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute.
