(Atlantic) Iowa U.S. Republican Senator Joni Ernst and Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds made a campaign stop in Atlantic on Wednesday afternoon. Ernst, appearing in front of the media, talked about some of the issues she is pushing in pursuit of another term in office.
Senator Ernst says jobs and the economy are high are her list.
The Senator talked about her continued fight for veterans and the Armed Services.
Ernst says supporting working families is also high on the list.
The Senator says despite what others have said; when it comes to healthcare she is for protecting people with pre-existing conditions.
Senator Ernst is the first woman to represent Iowa in either house of Congress. The senator is being challenged by Democrat Theresa Greenfield.
