Red Oak Police arrest two men following an altercation

(Red Oak) Red Oak Police arrested two men following an altercation in the 200 block of East Valley Street late Saturday night.

Officers arrested 25-year old Matthew Allen Ray Nicolson of Elliott for simple assault and 23-year old Kyle Andrew Nicholson of Red Oak for Public Intoxication and Interference with Official Acts.

Authorities transported both men to the Montgomery County Jail. Their bond was set at $300.00 each.

Deputies from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and Red Oak Fire and Rescue assisted the Red Oak Police Department.
