(Guthrie Center) ACGC got the volleyball postseason started in style Wednesday night with a convincing sweep of Earlham. The Chargers took out the Cardinals 25-12, 25-19, 25-12.
Among the notable achievements was the 2,000th career assist for setter Audrey Stowe. The senior posted 26 assists in the team’s 17th victory of the year. For the season she has 541 assists. She’s #1 in the state for Class 2A in assists per set at 9.7.
Chloe Largent led the team in kills Wednesday with 14 while Alaina Bunde led in blocks with three. Next up is a trip to face 5th rated and unbeaten East Sac County in the Class 2A Regional Semifinals on Monday. The winner will play for a trip to state on Wednesday, October 28th against either South Hardin or Woodward-Granger.
